uPDATING TO 2.2.1

Hi ,

I am using iphone 3g v 2.1. Original
Few games are not downloading saying that not compatible.

My question is if i update to 2.2.1 will i be able to play all those apps.

also i am from india if i update to 2.2.1 will i get baseband issue and No service......

because i read in most of the forums that if u update 2.2.1 u will not get signal and u will only see no service.....
Once again i am from india ... my mobile bought in india and still in warranty........

please solve my issue as soon as possible

I am also in India, and am using an iPhone bought from Airtel. I upgraded to OS 2.2.1 three months ago, and so far I have had no issues with it. I get the full five bar signal from the Airtel network too!

Thanks for the reply...... Happy to see an indian in this forum.

i update to 2.2 4 months back ..... but i got "No Signal" in Siganl Area..

Then i gave to Vodafone and then they replaced me ... it took 10 days.

So i am in a fear it will happen again...

i read in most of the forums that 2.2.1 will get "No Service" is that really true?
