print screen in xp

how do i capture the screen in xp? easy while in leopard but do to an error message i get in xp while trying to install a 3rd party app, i need to get a shot of the message and send to him.

On Mac Pro with Mac Aluminum Keyboard, The key to press is F14 which saves screen to clipboard. You can then go into Paint And select Paste from "Edit" dropdown - differs in Windows 7. You can then "File" save as; somehow, somewhere.

The Keyboard key name on a PC keyboard is PRT SCR.

Not as easy as Leopard's CMDShift3.

Wow if nothing else works,

1) on screen keyboard:

2) If possible, do what I did with Think Pad back in the 90's; Attach external Keyboard, Mouse & Display.
These things will make a lot of noise dragging around. A more stay in place than portable solution.
