Safari automatically starts

Safari automatically starts

I have had this problem with the old version and the new beta version of Safari. When I turn on the computer, it automatically starts Safari no matter what I do. I would like to stop this...

imac g5, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

Control-click on its Dock icon and uncheck 'Open at Login', or open the Accounts pane of System Preferences and remove it as well as anything which may launch it from the list of login items for your account.
