Defintely get the mac. Don't leave home without it. I have been talking to my friend who owns a business in FL and does video and photo editing, etc. I told him he would have a much easier time with the mac. PC was waaaayy too slow. He didn't believe me until he found out that Leopard runs windows more efficiently than a pc!! I'll try to find out what software he is using. What your talking about sounds familiar from our conversations. BUT, he is soooo glad he switched. It was a little struggle to switch, but we both found out how fun it was to see all the neat tricks our macs can do and we continually add to list of can-do's and share what we've found to be really useful or fun. He said his programs will end up costing more than his mac. I'm not sure if he has leopard or tiger. Like I said, I'll ask him(pass on your message).
