Spore Game

Hello, I am in need of some help here.

I just bought and installed Spore, I went to boot the program up and it wants to update with iPatch, so I do, then it does it again. Then I leave the computer for a bit and come back, open the Finder and my hard drive which was around 30GB free is down to 13GB and I can't find any files from this program anywhere. Not in any place any site tells you to look, ie Library Preferances, Documents. I don't get how im missing 15GBs of hard drive space.

Im reinstalling the program, then will reboot my computer, that might do something. Hopefully I don't need to reinstall anything.

MacBook Pro 2.2GHz 2.0GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

I suggest you contact the game developer. They should have a support site and possibly support forums. have you tried that? I have no idea where those Spore files would be stored but you can try searching for them. enter command+f in finder to bring up a search window. enter "Spore" in the search field. then click "on kind", scroll and click on "other". in the resulting popup select 'system files" and change the search parameters to include them in the search (they are excluded by default). that way it will also look in various Library folders.

also, you can try searching out really big files in general. see this link on how to do that
