imac error code 0x00000010
it starts up make noise then pops up with grey screen that says to restart computer. i tried un plugging it and removing the ram

That dialog that tells you to restart is referred to as a kernel panic.
If you have any peripherals connected besides the keyboard and mouse, disconnect and restart your Mac.
And removing and re-seating the RAM didn't make a difference ??
