Where are user log ons and offs logged?

Hi!

Does MacOSX Server (Tiger) log, when a certain user has logged on and off? Where?

Define 'log on' please.

If you mean either a GUI or a shell (e.g. via SSH) log in, then you can view this in the terminal via the last command.

If you mean 'log on' via individual services (e.g. AFP logins, web server logins, etc.) then that's down to the applications in question.

When there is a server running to share it's volumes (or folders) which are accessed by AFP, is it possible to see, when a certain user has connected to the server via LAN?
