iphone won't connect to internet!!

Try an iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so.

Are you able to place and receive calls and the same for SMS?

I have the same problem. The edge network is gone, but wireless networks still work. The phone still works and text message. I've restarted with no change. I know about the restore, but hate to reload all music and six pages of apps, contacts etc.

Seen this problem before. Ring your phone carrier and get them to reset your
internet capability. This is the same problem experienced by people buying a new
phone and not being able to connect to the internet. It is not the phone problem as such, It all lies with the phone carrier and they can fix it for you.

Try resetting your network settings. Go to Settings on the home screen, then General, then Reset, select Reset Network Settings.

If you do this though, you will need to re-enter any wifi network passwords you have stored in the phone.

If that doesn't work try taking your sim card out and putting it back in.

Heck, I can't even get web pages on wi-fi now.
