Parental Controls...how to get my kids to access documents??

I can't figure out how to get my children's user account to access documents. For instance, I put some folders on the admin account but I can't figure out how to get access to them through the kids account. Anyone have any clues to this?
Thanks

You should be able to grant other users read-only access to your documents by putting them in either of these two places:

/Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Public
/Macintosh HD/Users/Shared

Are the kids' accounts using Simple Finder? If so, they won't be able to navigate you your Public folder, and you'll have to use the /Users/Shared folder.
