QT Export crash and error 3000

QT Export crash and error 3000

Every time I press Export...under the File menu I crash. Nothing comes up just the Win crash report. When I try Export for Web I get the dialog box but can change settings but when I click to export it returns an error message Error 3000. This happens with every QT movie. I've uninstalled and re-installed bot the QT and Nvidia drivers. I rolled back and forward. Nothing works. Any thoughts?

Dell 690, Windows XP Pro, Nvidia FX 1300

Are you saying that QuickTime crashes or that Windows crashes? Do you get the "Blue Screen of Death"?

I can imagine this is very frustrating. Do you know what version of QuickTime for Windows you are using?

Thank you for responding. QT crashes not windows. I'm using latest QT 7.62. I'm a long time user and usually can figure this stuff out. I'm stumped. Appreciate the help.
