Disable F4 so i can use it for the show DESKTOP function in EXPOSE

I want to disable the default F4 key which is for Dashboard so i can use it for the
'show desktop'. i tried to change it in "keyboard shortcut" but it will not let me do it.
Do you have another solution? i want 'show desktop' to be a one key operation.

Go to the Keyboard preference and click the box that says "use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys". Then you can set the F4 key for Expose; Dashboard will be activated when you press Fn-F4. Note that the other system functions - brightness, volume, etc. - will also now require you to hold down the Fn key.

Hope this helps.

Well, since I can't seem to create a new topic anywhere, I figure this is as good of a place as any to post my question. I'd like to disable the functionality of Shift + F4, which sloooooooowly brings up the dashboard. I do NOT want to disable my other shift +f keys.. I use shift + f5 to switch between my spaces, and I always accidentally hit shift + f4.. it's extremely annoying.
