I'm pretty much an idiot, as I left my iPod sitting on the hood of my car all day today, after taking it off for what was supposed to be a second and leaving it there by mistake when I got sidetracked. It's in the 80's today and it was in direct sunlight. So now, the scroll wheel won't scroll and pressing the buttons doesn't work. If I hit hold on and off, the screen does come on and it shows I have battery life. Just can't do anything else.
Anyone have any ideas?
Leave it sit in temperatures within the operating specs (below 95 degrees F)for several hours. I would recommend against putting in an extremely cold environment ('fridge, freezer, highly airconditioned room)as you might run into problems with condensation. Once it's had a chance to cool down, try charging it. You may get lucky.
