How do I get the Tabs back at the top?

Tabs have moved back down since Safari came out of beta, how do I get them back to the top? I loved it!

There's no obvious options built-in, so if Apple have left that option in there, you'll have to wait for someone to find the hidden Terminal command that activates it.

Same Here I got used to the tabs on the top, I think I wont install it till some one finds out how to do it.

I totally agree. I loved the tabs on top, it just made sense. Anyone got any ideas?

I thought Apple was all about smarter navigation and organization +in spite of what people are used to+. For shame! I hope there's a Terminal command to switch it back...

Still scanning. Flipping the bool on these in terminal don't seem to have worked...

This in terminal

strings /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari | grep tab > tabs.txt

provides some possibilities like:

tabLocation

Anybody savvier than I with regards to modifiying plist files?

I agree with you like all my friends agree with me. Tabs on top in Safari 4 was the best for the vast majority of consumers.

I hope someone finds the hidden option soon enough.

I mean I have 2 tabs open but I lost a whole lot of space just for those two tabs.

Tabs on top owns!!!

Was just looking through the Safari.app/Contents/Resources/ and found a file:

TabsOnTopPreferences.tiff

With the image representing our missing top-tabs.

If the dev team was so intent on removing the top-oriented tabs wouldn't they have at least removed the Preferences icon for it?

I was just going in to post that I found that graphic as well. GRRR. Why isn't there just an accessible preferences option for this? Apple frustrates me so sometimes.

Well, considering Apple's pattern of knowing what's best for their users before we know it, it would seem that Apple thinks it's in our best interests to switch over to Google's Chrome when it's finally finished for the mac...
