MOTU MIDI Express XT Time Code Problem

Hello,

I'm having a serious problem syncing my Poly Evolver Keyboard sequencer to MIDI Time Code in Logic. Basically, when I hit play, the Evolver sequencer goes crazy, all of the MIDI out lights on the XT are blinking.
I have the Evolver set to receive MIDI Clock. It's the only port on the XT that should be receiving MIDI clock, but all of the lights flash when I play the song.
I've tried unplugging the MIDI out from the Evolver, but it does the same thing.
Hmmm. What else. Sync is set to internal. The MOTU driver is up to date.
Also, this problem does not happen in ProTools.

I'm running a PowerPC Dual 2.5 gHz, 8 gb RAM. Audio interfaces are Apogee Symphony and M-Audio Profire.

Please help!

thanks,

Joe

MTC... MIDI Time Code is NOT the same as MIDI Clock.

Are you using MIDI Clock and accidently calling it MTC or are you actually sending MTC to the Evolver, if you are it will probably go crazy! 🙂
