Connecting iPod to Xcode

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place but
I have been happily debugging my iPhone app on my iPod for a couple of months through XCode but yesterday I got this when trying to connect the iPod

Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error (0xE8000075)
Try disconnecting and powering off the device; then power the device on and reconnect it.

I did what was requested and also cleaned all targets and deleted the app on the iPhone but I always get this message.

Any help would be appreciated.
