i forgot my password and i cant get into my iTouch, HELP??

I'm really sorry to be a bother but i was wondering if you ever figured out how to get into your "disabled" ipod touch because you forgot the password. I can't remember the password to mine, nothing is working, and it's driving me nuts. I was wondering if you could tell me what you did so I can get back into mine.

First off, you need to have access to the original computer that you synced the iPod with. Next, you are going to need to put the iPod into recovery mode:

1. Unplug the iPod
2. Start iTunes
3. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears and turn off the iPod
4. Hold down the Home button and, while continuing to hold it down, plug in your USB cable. Continue to hold down the Home button until iTunes gives you the message "iPod detected in recovery mode".
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to restore your iPod.

just do a full restore on your ipod, or a "force restore"..
