Im having trouble downloading Itunes

Hi I am having trouble dowloading Itunes 8.2 so I deleted my Itunes off my computer and now it wont download, it says an error occured.
Would someone be able to help me?
I have Windows XP if that makes any difference

I get this message:
The installer has encoutered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738.

It sounds to me like you have a corrupted or incomplete download of the iTunes installer. I'd suggest deleting the copy of the installer you have and downloading it again from Apple's web site and see if the new copy has better results.
