I recorded video of some live music and would like to export the audio (song) from the video into GarageBand so that I can put it on a cd or make an mp3. I am brand new to Mac- clueless. Is this even possible- if so, how do I do it?
If you have it in imvoie already just click Share > Export using quicktime then in Export settings choose sound to AIFF. You can then drop it in itunes to convert to mp3 or make a CD.
Or open garageband start a new movie project drag the movie file in and as hangtime said delete the movie track.
And I'm not sure if this works only in Quicktime Pro or regular Quicktime but open in quicktime and export as mp3 or AIFF.
Okay, trying to do this on my own with zero background in Garageband and fair knowledge of iMovie. It's not going so well. Can anyone elaborate on this? Or post a link that provides step-by-step instructions?
