iPod in recovery mode, iTunes won't recognize

I'm very frustrated. I tried upgrading my iTouch to the 2.0 software, but it sent my iPod into recovery mode. When I plug my iPod into my computer, iTunes won't recognize my iPod at all. If I plug it into another computer it is recognized and I can restore it. I've repeated this about 3 times. What's going on?
