Connecting second Mac to use additional power of its processor.
Hi. My friend has Intel iMac 20 and working with Logic Studio. However he is already running out of power. He is using his iMac Intel Core2Duo Processors on almost 100% and would like to buy (Mac mini or G5 Mac) But he doesnt know how to connect it , where and what needs to be done before he can use his iMac as a main computer (with Logic Studio) and use additional processor power from another Mac.
I know there needs to be done something in Sharing option , probably FireWire cable is needed but what else.
I have never done it before. Can anyone explain me step-by-step how to do it and how to check if it is really working.
Thanx.
PS: Would Intel Mac worked with older G5 Mac?
