As I understand we will have Bluetooth in the next software 3.0 upgrade. Can anyone advise on a suitable Bluetooth Stereo Headset and Mic.? Also can anyone tell me whether two people can listen to music etc.on the same device using two paired headsets?
I was always intrigued with that question myself( with the capability of that Bluetooth on the Ipod-touch), I even made a post about it and got some good answers on it.
Again like F shippey just mentioned, all of us have to wait until we could get our little hands on that 3.0 software next week. Then, we could finally have a definitive answer, if we could connect our devices to any bluetooth headsets on the market. In my best wishes, I hope we could do that cause if not then we might have to wait on the third-generation of the Ipod-touch(that might come this year on the fall).

I suppose because I thought that someone out there, might have some ideas. If they haven't then of course I will have to wait.

Your comments fill me with dread! Are you suggesting that after the recent announcement that Bluetooth will be available for the iPod Touch on June 17, we will only be able to use it in the Fall. If that is the case, I will not be impressed. Bluetooth, is a massive feature and will surely be supported, otherwise it will be a damp squib!
I'm not sure about Bluetooth Stereo Headset w/ Mic, but the second gen will be able to connect to A2DP headphones or stereo which might allow multiple listeners wirelessly. Like F Shippey said, you're just going to have to wait a couple more days, and then you can ask people who have experienced or know anything about this feature.
I thought that your were suggesting that it was possible, not impossible.Your comment was:- +I'm not sure about Bluetooth Stereo Headset w/ Mic, but the second gen will be able to connect to A2DP headphones or stereo which _might allow multiple listeners wirelessly.+_
Sorry, but your cryptic replies are not helping. Your original comment clearly mentioned A2DP.So if you were not talking about that, what were you talking about?
This is not possible. Ipod touch 2nd gen recognized multiple a2dp headsets but it can only connect to one at a time. Manually connects to the other headset would disconnect the current one. I was hoping it can do this.
