LaCie Network Space troubles

Hi,

I bought a 1TB LaCie Network Space network drive and it's recognised by Mac OS to a certain extent, the router has assigned it an IP yet I can't connect directly, I can just see two shared drives (NetworkSpace AFP and NetworkSpace SMB), when I try to connect to one I get this error message: http://i44.tinypic.com/v7t505.png . Is this a problem with my router/the hardware itself/my Mac OS configuration?
