this is true it does solve some issues but im still noticing that the music on the right side speaker seems to be louder than the left side speaker. im not sure if there is an extra speaker on that side but i thought each side on 15inches and above contained subs as well as a mid and tweeter. does anyone else see this when listening to music, try something with some base either some r&b or something with lots of bass.

I just got a brand new 21" iMac (3.05GHz) with Snow Leopard

I AM HAVING A HUGE AUDIO PROBLEM.

    In _Snow Leopard_:

    1-the audio volume is Ok
2-the connection to external speakers is ok
3-The mic (use in Skype) is ok
4-the line in (usei in MP3) is ok

But in _XP Pro SP3 in Bootcamp 3.0.1 (313)_ all my problems start:

    1-the audio volume is Ok
2-the connection to external speakers is ok
3-THE MIC *IS NOT WORKING* (Mic dont work with yahoo, or skype)
4-THE LINE IN (use in MP3) *IS NOT WORKING*

So i´ve updated the Bootcamp 3.0.1 (313) and hoped to solve this issue but nothing happened.

    My hardware:

    -Cirrus Logic driver 1.0.0.26, 9/15/2009
    -Cirrus Logic high definition audio
    -HDAUDIO\FUNC01&VEN_10138&DEV_4206&SUBSYS_106b4e00&REV1003\4&2018A581&0&0001
    -NVidia high definition audio
    -HDAUDIO\FUNC01&VEN_10DE&DEV_0007&SUBSYS_10DE0101&REV1001\4&2018A581&0&0301

_I´ve tried all the suggestions_ posted here, and nothing.

*I need the driver and the instructions to install it*

Please, all the experts, help me!

Also with the new driver from BootCamp 3.1 the mic is again not working But the sound from the speakers is better then with the previous workaround. So is there a way to combine new sound from a new driver and a working mic from the previous driver?

    Hello, I have found this:

    KSPROPERTYAUDIO_MIX_LEVELTABLE

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms790593.aspx

This is about the "KSAUDIO_MIXLEVEL" that is inside of the cs420x.inf.

    Any expert can help?

I had the same issue with my MacBook Pro running Winxp. I had found an article regarding upgrading my soundcard drivers. It worked 100% for me. My sound is now at normal volume.

I have to agree with eharmonie - KJA+ is a hero! Have just downloaded the driver and installed it to my 15" Macbook Pro (running Windows 7 32bit through Bootcamp 3.0). Internal microphone is now working with Skype, and speakers sound great. Thanks so much!

Anyone can help with WIN XP 32 bits SP3 mixer !!!

Line in and Mic does NOT apear, so you can not hear what kind of sound you are playing.

    Thank´s

P.S. In this page have other drives for vista and win 7. But I do NOT have it to test.
