Joystick

Was not sure where to post this, so here goes.

I have a MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick, old but still in working order. I am presently doing a trial with "Silent Wings" flight sim.

Now I know my Joystick is MS but when plugged into a usb port on my Mac it does work sometimes and sometimes not, it seems to "drop out". I know it was never supplied with a driver for Mac which is a bummer as it is a good product. (no driver at MS either....surprise, surprise.

Does anyone here know of a generic driver that may enable my joystick to work on a more reliable basis. If this is this question in the wrong place, can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Kenichi

Thank you for your reply and steer. It didn't work for me, in fact my joystick is now not working at all in the up/down and left/right axis. I have trashed the driver but my joystick is stuck and will not paly at all now hmmmmm.

I will register with the Silent Wings web site and see if any of the "Top Guns" can help with a solution.

Good try but not this time Kenichi!

Thanks

Peter
