Buying the NEW iPhone 3G

Hi, I want to go and buy the iPhone 3G that just came out. When I purchase the iphone 3G will it have all of the new features or will I have to wait until june 17th for the update. If I have to wait until the 17th for the update is it smarter to purchase online with new feature already on it? Or buy the 3G iPhone right now and update on the 17th.

Are you talking about the iPhone 3G or new iPhone 3GS? For 3G you will have to wait till 17, or 3GS will be available 19 so I assume it will be pre-installed.
