Which Twitter application is best? Is there a gold standard. The app store has dozens of them. Thanks!

It depends on if you want to pay for one or not. Tweetie is definitely one of the best paid Twitter apps, but I personally am cheap and only want a free option, so I use Twitterfon, which is a great app.
