i had the same problem downloading a movie, i had it about halfway downloaded and it froze, then gave me the error 8007, told me to go to the check for available downloads. did that and again would happen. i have windows vista but the process is similar for xp...

first you want to go to your desktop folder, then click to your music.
next pick the itunes file and it should give you a list of different itunes files.
then pick the itunes music file from those. next in the heading area you will see
C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music
...add on \downloads to the end of it and it will give you a list of items downloading. find the name of the file you are downloading and manually delete it from that list.

next go back into itunes check for available downloads and it will download the file from the beginning.

after that my movie downloaded completely without a hitch.
hope this helped

I tried this with an album I had problems downloading today, using your advice. Worked like a charm. One addition: if in iTunes music people see the icon that says "List" and it's a Quicktime file, even though you can't see which individual files (e.g. songs, movies, etc.) it contains, so long as you check the create date, you're good to go.

Thanks for the advice!
