Do I need a computer?

ok so i was thinking about putting an airport express down at my cabin (No internet and few users). Anyways, the goal is to be able to use air tunes with an ipod touch, apple tv, and posibble some iphones.

do I need a computer or can I do all the setup via the browser on the ipod touch?

I could use a laptop for the initial setup but would not be able to use it everytime and the airport express would be unplugged when not in use... weeks at a time sometimes. (would the settings be lost?)
