Itunes keeps telling me it was unable to connect to the store and to check my connection. My connection is fine and i've checked my keychain. This is really weird and has only just started happening in the last 48hrs..
Any feedback appreciated..
Thx, Matt

MBP 2.2 C2D 4GB RAM,
Mac OS X (10.5.7),
bootable backups ROCK!!
Same here (London); three Macs, always could connect, just connected about three days ago.
Only tried this AM as I wanted to update my iPhone. Noticed that I couldn't connect to update servers, thought I'd try iTunes Store but same problem as you.
Tried the other Macs to see if it was specific to my MacBook - can't connect at all.
I'm having the same problem, started yesterday after the iPhone 3.0 update. I get the prompt for username and password, but it stalls at 'Accessing iTunes Store...". It never actually connects.
I run into this after iPhone updates "iTunes will not connect to iTunes store unknown Error (-9807), and after trying the Keychain fix with no luck, I realized it was Little Snitch. So just something to check, if you have installed Little Snitch make sure you turn it off while updating or update your iTunes rules in the program to allow.
Thought I'd share this since it fixed my problem, good luck!
thx for chiming in peeps, i am still at a loss here.. Has anybody been able to connect??
This is really annoying. i think i may have a common problem (kinda). My Mail is now not loading images in my emails and i cannot connect to msn messenger (Skype connects fine).
It is a Mac OS program that monitors traffic going out of your system. If you have it installed, and are blocking a service iTunes needs to activate your phone, you will not be able to activate until you allow iTunes to communicate out. Many times people forget they have it installed, or on a shared computer may not know it is installed and running.
Hi, I can't find the Little Snitch software on my iBook so I have to assume that I don't have it. I still can't connect to the iTunes store. I'm getting the same error message about not being about to connect to the iTunes store and to check my network connection and when I do, my connection is fine.
NetBarrier X5 -> Overview -> Privacy -> Data -> Surf -> and uncheck "Hide my AppleID when using the iTunes MiniStore"
Note, this second adjustment is turning off what was intended to hide your credentials when using an unencrypted wireless connection, so I wouldn't Sign In if I was on a public wifi, but of course, you shouldn't be supplying credentials on a public wifi anyways.
I'm having the same problem. My itunes won't connect to the store, initially giving me an error message but now just telling me the connection timed out. My Mail won't take accounts online or give me my rss. And System Update cannot connect to apple servers. This has just started happening to me yesterday. The day before yesterday I know system update was working, and to make matters worse, My iPhone bricked yesterday afternoon and I can't restore.
