MMS iPhone 3G - Telstra

I have completed the 3.0 UPGRADE. Testing the MMS function sent ok.
I was sent an MMS successfully in return.

Later on in the day - the same user sent me several MMS' and the following message was displayed:
"Part of the content of this multimedia message (image name) could not be delivered."

I have changed no settings with the handset or my provider settings.

Why did it receive one MMS message and not work since?
I can send ok - just not receive.

Can anyone help?

Ring Telstra - 125 111. I could send MMS but not receive the pictures from other people including someone on the Telstra network, so I rang Telstra earlier and they told me there were some missing codes within my account. They added them and now I can receive MMS fine.

P.S. My settings were exactly the same as those above and they still are.

I am actually Telstra staff.
I had to wait til I got back to work to check. The settings are almost correct.

it's the last letter of the MMSC address missing - the " u ".

Here are the correct settings and location:

Settings > General >Network > Cellular Data Network

MMS:
APN: telstra.mms
UNSER NAME:
Password:
MMSC: http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002u
MMS PROXY: 010.001.001.180:80
MMS MAX MESSAGE SIZE: 61440
MMS UA PROF URL:

Telstra - Australia have a 3G network called Next-G.
It's the fastest 3G Network - data speeds across a mobile network - Guiness book of world records.
http://gocebit.com.au/?q=news/telstra-moves-21mbps-wireless
Telstra is gearing up to go 40.2Mb/s.
(Currently average 21.2Mb/s there of)

The iphone 3G S apparently suports 7.2 Mb/s with Telstra Next-G.

Sweeeeetttt!

MK999 - Yes I can send and receive. If these settings are active and STILL do not work - You may need to call 125111 and ask for WIRELESS DATA TELSTRA MOBILE (Besure to say Telstra Mobile - OR YOU WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO BIGPOND IN SOME CASES). Have them apply all DATA CODES to your mobile account - remove any data barring - if any - and have the Telstra data operator add the MMSCOMB3 code via HELPDESK SYSTEMS. This should ensure all is ok from your operator end.

YORT22 - Yes - sorry - my Keypad did not respond. Were you having troubles receiving MMS too - and adding the U helped?

To Test Please write a message - insert a Picture (creating an MMS) and Text to the telephone number:

176667

Telstra will 'auto reply' with an MMS message containing a pic.
If you can view the pic in the message - you are working.
Fore more info on Telstra MMS, Please visit: http;//www.telstra.com.au/mobile/products/messaging/mms.htm

Tech Guy Dre - Yeah - Aus Telstra network settings mentioned. But had you been able to send MMS on your previous phone?? If not - CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER TO ENABLE MMS AND OR DATA ON YOUR MOBILE SERVICE.
I hope that helps.
