iPod touch (1st Gen) slower since FW 3.0

Has anyone noticed that the 1st Gen iPod runs slower with the new OS? I upgraded yesterday and it feels slower when opening apps oder scrolling on webpages.

Anyone else?

1G Touch user here,
I have your problem too, mostly in App store and iTunes store on the Touch is incredibly slow and takes sometimes a minute to load up a simple page

No, its for the 1st gen as well; the small "1 and 2" footnotes mean that some of the mentioned features only apply to the 2nd generation.

These are:

Bluetooth capability
Peer to peer gaming

All the other features apply to the first generation.

Oh, and yes, mine seems much slower too; I can't even get wifi to work anymore correctly (finds router but won't connect).

Pish Posh! This is kindof funny because my 1st Gen is absolutely faster on the 3.0 software. It used to take me 3-4 seconds to launch the music player but now its less than a second. Apps load faster and games seem smoother to me since the update. I'm loving the extra features too. Now the downside, The music player crashes on me regularly when attempting to play media! Awesome! Speed and Crashes, how could anyone ask for more?
