Video download stuck on "processing"

I hit the situation and although I wasn't able to complete the stuck download, I could unblock other downloads by deleting the stuck download.

To delete an active download, swipe your finger over it to get the "Delete" button and then delete it.

I am having this same problem except I cannot delete the download. I've read many post that suuggest swiping and deleting the download but when I try swiping my finger across it nothing happens. I'm on vacation trying to download a movie and I cannot use my MacBook to finish the download because it is not with me. Any suggestions?

The error message I get is "download error tap to retry"

I'm getting the same download error tab to retry message. I've got a request into Apple iTunes. If they get back to me with a solution that works I'll post for the rest to benefit from. What a lousy first experience, downloading to my iPhone with the new 3.0. My daughter was really bummed.

Well I just got off the phone with Apple and they had me reset all settings (which jacked up all my icons) Problem still exists. Next step to restore my phone via Itunes.

This is unacceptable. The Apple rep suggested that my iPhone 2G might not have the capacity to handle the download. I had at least 1.3GB available when I initiated the download.

THIS IS MESSED UP.

This being stuck on "download error. tap to retry" has been going on for 2 weeks. I finally got Apple to credit back the rental of this movie, but have not been able to make the download go away. It would be great if I didn't have to go through the whole Restore process, but even the Apple store people don't know how to fix it.

I am having exactly the same problem and I have tried everything in this thread to fix it with no success. I purchased a TV Show season and my iPod Touch downloaded the first 4 episodes fine. It is now stuck on the fith episode and just says "processing". It has been "processing" the download for two days now. I have tried turning the iPod on/off, I have tried resetting the iPod, I have tried tapping on the download to delete it. I am extremely frustrated and I have run out of options. If anyone has run into this and know how to fix it I would very much appreciate a list of proven steps to do so. Thanks.

I have this stupid "download error ta tp retry rpoblem". I have tried downloading two songs and a music video - they download fine, and then when it goes to processing, the error comes up. I did however try downloadinh a free podcast, and this download fine. I know I have enough space - 20.4GB and there are no billing problems, it just wont complete the download process for music or music videos. ARGH - help - pleeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeeee.

I just ran into this same problem trying to purchase a song over 3G.

Same thing trying to download a multi-part audiobook. So much for my flight entertainment.

Restoring my iPhone worked to clear the log jam within iTunes store. I suggest Apple begins listing the file size of each movie along with the available space on the device to avoid this.
