Add Logo to Scrolling title

Good Day Gentlemen,
I'm a Premiere Pro user moving to FCP, in Premiere it was Quite easy to add an image or logo to a scrolling title (Movie Credits), but I cant figure out how to add one in Final Cut. I tried in LiveType but I could figure it out either. I really want to know how add the logo to scroll with the title

In LiveType, you would set up your text and logo in the postions, size, color etc that you want.
Then use the track grouping controls and apply a Scroll effect. Because the text and logo elements are grouped, both move together.

In Final Cut Pro, you would need to nest the text and logo clips, then apply a global move to the nest.

Another way is to use Photoshop. Start with one of the video templates that fits the pixel dimensions of your FCP Sequence. Extend the PSD canvas size vertically -doubling or tripling its height to make space for all your elements. Continue to extend downwards as needed.

When everything is in position, turn off the background, merge visible to send your text and logo to one layer, export as TIFF with transparency enabled.

Bring that into FCP and use the Motion parameters to move it up the screen.

I haven't used this myself, but I have used some of his other plugins.

If I understand right to group the tracks I must click the little Chain before the name of the Track right? after I made that and applied the effect into the track that I selected, that track is the only one that moves, the other one stays in its place, what I'm doing wrong?

LiveType's Grouping can be flaky at times, there does not seem to be any particular pattern.

Quick fix:

Right click the effect below the track and copy it.
Right click the other track and paste the effect.

As an alternative, you can duplicate the effect and drag it to the other track

already tried that, but when the text is scrolling up the image doesn't shows on the exact position it shows over the text it reaches the place that I gave it and then it pass over the text again, its not constantly in its place.
Edit: I'll start testing the Photoshop Option

Yeah, If you have a lot of text, this could be fiddly to set up.

Give my Photoshop sugestion a try instead, it's real easy to exactly see the different elements relative positions.

Glad you have it working.
I'm going to poke around in LiveType and see if there's some way around this.
Maybe there's some kind of voodoo that can be used to convert a logo or graphic object into a typeface character...

Not trying to push the plugin but I will say this. I have never used it until now. I wanted to try it and see how easy it was.

Within 3 minutes, I had the plugin installed (drag and drop), had my image in the plugins drop box (drag your image in) and placed the generator above my already created Boris Title Crawl right after the final line of text. Pressed play and it scrolled up perfectly.

There are speed controls, resize image controls, scaling, etc... I think you might find this plugin quite useful. Like I said, i knew of this plugin, but had not used it until this test. I'm not discounting Livetype or the Photoshop method.... but this was EASY. Maybe, just give it a go and see...?
