Bluetooth Audio has "Hiccups"

I too get the same "hiccup" every 8 to 15 seconds. Very annoying, I hope the issue can be identified and fixed.

P.S. Does anyone know if/when apple will add ACVRP via bluetooth?

you could try airplane mode to see if it is the GSM radio causing interference.

I had the same problem under 2.2.1. I think it has to do with the fact that the USB cable is also charging the iPhone.

I get the same hiccups running bluetooth audio to a pioneer AHU (DEH-P800BT).

The phone audio is fine, but on the ipod audio streaming you get the annoying hiccups. Never had the hiccups when running BT audio from Nokia N95, a number of other issues yes, but no hiccups.

Same problem for me, except I'm using a Pioneer DEH-4900IB with the additional bluetooth module. Audio works fine when I'm patching calls through to my head unit, but the music has "hiccups" as you describe it.

jmn11, do you use the SYNC to handle phone calls too? I'm thinking it might have to do with the fact that I'm using bluetooth both to handle phone calls and play my music?

Doing a Google search of "iphone 3gs pioneer deh-4900ib" brought me to this thread. I am looking into ways of using the iPod function of my 3Gs with this aforementioned Pioneer CD deck.

I have considered the iPod-AUX cable or the bluetooth adapter. Have you tried both stjung? The crackling issue leans me toward the iPod AUX cable (if it is compatible).

I just got my new, shiny Iphone 3G S, bought specially for him 2 headsets from Jabra - BT620s, other one for my honey (she's got my old iPhone 3G).

Annoying hiccups occur always in same moments , exactly after same time (fot totally different albums or tracks), there are too problems with pairing and connecting to headset, it happened even few times that bluetooth was unavailable on iPhone!

Just like service (BT) was hanging or something...

Don't know if this will help, but I have bluetooth problems as well. I can usually solve them by turning off the bluetooth on the phone; waiting a few minutes and turn it back on. The problems usually go away, but sometime after a couple of attempts of this. Simple, and probably already tried, but thought I'd offer it up.

U scaring me up, cause I used to think that only my 3G has that problem due to it's small memory,
what upsetting is that my junky Sanyo Katana beautifully plays over BT but not that fancy iPhone ?!?

I have the exact same problem. I'm using a Dell bh-200 stereo headset. It works fine with my laptop and not well at all on my iPhone 3gs

I'm afraid I also have the same problems using my brand new iPhone 3GS (OS 3.1.2) connected to my JVC car audio system. That system works well with all cheap phone models (LG Cookie, Nokia E66 etc.) but with my fancy iPhone I get "hiccups" all the time. That makes listening BlueTooth Audio impossible. Has anyone already had contact with a live support engineer from Apple? I hope this issue can be solved asap so I can use that functionality as it should work.

Before I forget, I read on another forum that switching off the WiFi in the car might help. I tried it (restarted the phone etc.) but it didn't work.

I have a mercedes with the MB bluetooth adapter. I cannot get any music to come across the bluetooth at all, but the ipod speakers are still working? can anyone help?
