Transfer audiobook to another iPhone?

are both of your iPhones using the same iTunes account? if so, then yes. you can setup several devices to sync from 1 computer library.

you can also copy the file from one computer to the other, but this requires a bit more computer savy. i believe you will still need to use the same iTunes account, though.

it depends. how did you get the audiobook? is it something you own, or did you buy it through iTunes?

if purchased through iTunes, i believe that only the account that purchased the audiobook will be able to listen to it.

if you just imported an audio file into iTunes, there shouldn't be any problems. in theory, anyway...

to find the file, you should be able to select it in iTunes, then do "File -> Get Info" to bring up the info dialog box. near the bottom, you should see the location of your file.

depending on the size of the file, you might not be able to email it. you might have to use a thumb drive or something similar.

please feel free to try it and see what happens, but do not be surprised if it doesn't work. i don't know if apple is protecting the audiobooks, but i know if 1 user buys an app, another user can't install it on their phone without paying for it. i know they do the same thing for music and videos, so why not with audiobooks?

also, the easiest way around this is to use the same iTunes account on the same computer, but that is your decision to do that or not. you might be able to use the same iTunes account across different computers, but i'm not sure.

I share audiobooks across computers all the time. Just copy the book over to the new computer and try to play it. itunes will ask for a password. Enter the password for the account you purchased the book on and viola.

I don't think there is a digital rights issue. You can play itunes purchased media on up to 5 machines. That, of course, severely limits how many people you can share with.
