When is Call Forwarding NOT Call Forwarding...

When you forward calls from your cell to another phone. I just discovered that every time I have enabled call forwarding via Settings on my iPhone to my home phone, the minutes are still counted on my AT&T account.

The AT&T rep just confirmed this for me. Luckily, he credited me all of the minutes I have forwarded this billing cycle. I know now. I'm new to cell phones, so if this is common knowledge please excuse the noob.

I also don't get why I have to pay for incoming calls and texts, but, that's the game I guess. Carry on...
