Voice Memo WOW!

My husband just sent me a voice memo. WOW! It is crystal clear, like he's in the room clear! I've played it on the iPhone, and then played it again on my computer. It was even better on the computer. I am impressed. This is an awesome update and tool.

But one question: how many minutes does it record? I assume there's a limit. What is the limit?

I just recorded a two hour seminar last night with the iPhone on my knee 🙂 It comes in at around 2.3mb per minute so the final file is 273.9mb - too big to email or MMS. Checked the 'include voice memos' link in the iPhone's Music tab in iTunes and synced iPhone and iTunes - I now have the voice memo as a .m4a file in my iTunes library folder 🙂

Happy days - I love voice memos!

I am encouraged that you were able to get this large memo off your phone. I have one from a lecture this week and it will not sync to my computer, no matter what I do. Did you do anything special to make it move over? I've tried everything I can think of. Other, shorter, voice memos come over just fine.
