Showing DVD via Infocus Projector

Simple Problem, did it once sometime ago but forgot how to do it. I have a new Imac G5, want to show some iDVDs using an older Infocus ProLite 220 Projector. The projector has three ports for left & right audio and Video input (phone jacks) I'm missing something because the projectot is not getting the signal. Should I make an adjustment on the Mac??? Help

Not the answer to your question, but why not just use a stand alone dvd player?

That wouldn't work. I solved the problem, I found the iBook VGA, mini-VGA, or RGB tv/ video connector I had, but forgot about it.
I'm using for it a DJ business along with iTunes, visulalizer, CD's and iDVD's DVD video projection from one source. It works great, the effects are awsome.
