I'll be making a switch to the Rogers network soon and plan to get an iPhone 3GS. Rogers has a 30 day return policy for the 3GS as long as the phone doesn't have more than 30 minutes on it, hardly enough time to assess sound quality, battery life, etc.
What is Apple's return policy? Can I buy the phone online from Apple, without a limitation on minutes if I decide for some reason I don't like the phone?
Thanks, but I don't think I'll be getting through to anyone at an Apple store today and the website says 14 days/10% restocking fee if opened box, but doesn't talk about the iPhone. I don't think you can order the iPhone online in Canada you have to go to an Apple store.
I called the Apple store in toronto. they are selling them at the store with the same return policy as Rogers: 30 days with < 30 minutes. After that you own it.
A friend of mine has a original iPhone he isn't using. I'm going to buy an iPhone and sign up for a plan and get used to the phone without making allot of calls. To test the network and sound quality, I'm going to put my simm in my friends unused iPhone. If I have network issues I can't live with, I'll return the 3GS with fewer than 30 minutes on it and go back to the "B" side provider.
