3.0 Checking Mail, Crash on Download Not Fixed

Have deleted ALL email accounts completely including IMAP, Gmail, and MobileMe.
Did a hard reset on the phone.
Added back my Exchange IMAP account (no using iTunes sync.)
Mail app still crashes on message download - returns to main screen.
I can return to mail app and open message after crash most of the time.
A few times the message has completely disappeared.

It seems the problem may be with the marking of message as read or not read - the presence of the blue dot.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Please help. Thanks.

Yes I'm having this exact same problem and it is VERY annoying. Please somebody help! Mine crashes as it tries to download what appears to be messages from my Exchange account. It can seem to do the IMAP and the Gmail accounts ok as I have it do it automatically every hour. It had new messages waiting from those accounts but not from Exchange, and when I try to download messages from the Exchange account manually, it zaps out on me. This is very uncool as I rely a lot on my phone to keep me in touch with the world - please someone help!

Try reloading the account information as 'Other', not MS Exchange. Worked for me. No more 'Push' option with account setup as Other. Also calendar and contacts are not available under Other but I use me.com to manage those. I hope this helps.
