iPhone 3G S has yellowish tint

I just got my iPhone 3G S today and noticed that it has a distinctly yellowish tint to the screen. Doesn't matter what app I am using, and I've tried adjusting the brightness with no success.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

15" Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6), iPhone 3G S

Might there be a file that we can somehow edit that specifys the color temperature or is this info stored in the ROM?

update: this one has a very feint bright pixel...seriously...this is been the worst experience ever...

Here is the information I was E-mailed concerning the yellow screen:

"apple has not launched any information to
provide to the customers at the moment"

I replacment my week 25 yesterday because I had 2 dead pixels, which also had yellow tint at the bottom. The replacemnt I receive, a week 26, dose not have yellow tint.

My screen was fine until I let the battery run down all the way today. I recharged, and when I turned back on it has an extremely yellow tint. Is this what's happened with everyone else?

Question: how long did it take Apple to iron out the 3G issues? A few weeks? Months? I really wanna get one of these but am deterred by the bugs.

I was about to walk out the door to an AT&T store to upgrade from my first gen to the 3gs unless I saw these comparison shots. The added speed would be nice, but I can't stand that yellow tint.

15 days for an exchange is not accurate. You can return the phone for a full refund for 30 days. This is required for any cell phone sold with a contract in the US.

Are there any pictures of this yellowish tint? My 3GS seems fine, but I'd like to see what people are talking about.
