Dell 540 photo printer driver

I have just switched to Mac and have a Dell 540 dedicated photo printer, based on a Kodak, I believe. My mini had no problem in accepting my HP deskjet printer, unlike my old PC. However, the Dell is recognised but needs a driver, only comes with a windows one. I have searched forums and google and can't find where to get a compatible driver. Any suggestions? If I loaded Parallels and xp would that work? Any help would be much appreciated. TIA.

MacMini, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

I suggest you contact Dell tech support to see if there is a Mac compatible driver. If you know the model it's based on (you mentioned a Kodak model) then you can try Kodak for a compatible driver.

Otherwise you are out of luck. OS X has only one Kodak driver for the EasyShare Printer-Dock.
