Application stuck and wont eject

No it's not spyware, it's just a Utility that helps you remove all the pieces of an Application when you delete it.

To remove the AppTrap Preference Panel just delete: /Library/PreferencePanes/AppTrap.prefPane (you may have to Authenticate as Admin)

I've used it for some time, it's useful in removing pieces left scattered around the system folder when Application are deleted by just dragging them to the trash. If things have proper un-installers then it's not as useful.

Never heard of App Trap. I like how you can just move the files to the trash and it will find associated files. I use AppZapper, but you have to either drag the app to it's icon, or open the app then drag it in. This makes for an extra step. Hopefully when the long-awaited new version is released they will have an option like this.

Hi, I use APPDELETE, after using & deleting an APP, I always check out the Users Library, if anything does remain I drag to the Trash.
I always Repair Permissions after either Adding or Deleting an App -
I also Repair Permissions Before & After Updates..

I really don't think you really NEED this kind of app.
I'd say maybe 95% of normal apps are thoroughly gone after trashing.
Exceptions that I know about are Internet apps, and they usually come
with an uninstaller.

EDIT: Microsoft Office comes with it's own uninstaller, also.
And don't ever try to get rid of any parts of it without the uninstaller.
