My Blueant Supertooth Light won't pair with my iPhone 3GS

I've had a Supertooth Light Handsfree unit for over 6 months. It has always worked great with my iPhone 3G. I now have an iPhone 3GS, and the Supertooth Light won't pair with the 3GS. It can't be discovered by the iPhone 3GS.

Interestingly, I have an older Nokia CK-7W car kit. It pairs fine, but the Supertooth won't.
The Supertooth has much better voice quality and noise canceling.

Is anyone else having this problem, and do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Alan

Mine took a bit to pair but it works great. do a hard reset of the iPhone, try again.

I had the same issue With the Supertooth 3. Try different combos. With Supertooth (ST) off, turn on Bluetooth on phone, then turn on Supertooth.
OR, with both on, turn on BT on phone then hit Green button on ST.
As I said, it took a couple of tries but it works wonderfully. Best BT device I've ever used.
One more thing, I had to unpair the device and repair to get the phonebook loaded.
Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

Problem solved! I followed the pairing instructions in the Supertooth Light product manual, which I downloaded from the www.myblueant.com website. Now, my iPhone 3GS works great with the Supertooth Light.

Thanks for your replies that led me to the solution to this problem!

The Supertooth really works well!

Thanks again,
Alan

Just received a BlueAnt S1 Visor for my other car.

Wow!

It's improved over the Supertooth Light!

Sleek and easily unclips from visor.
Anser by saying "answer"

Audio speaker better / higher volume.

Audio mic in seems them same excellent as before. Need to test further.

Priced competitively.

Pairs easily with my iPhone 3GS.

Please send any comments.

I have been researching multiple bluetooth speakerphone units. I reduced my decision down to 2. After reading this thread I decided to order the BlueAnt S1 (always good to check the apple forums before buying things you want to work with Apple products =).

I was wondering if you have any further experiences with it now that you have used it for a while?

Thanx!
