Screen not flush with border on 3GS...

Hi guys - just wondering if anyone else has a similar issue. The screen on my 3GS isn't completely flush with the right edge of the phone. The silver border is slightly raised on the right (or the screen is slightly sunken on the right). When I drag my finger over the left side it's totally smooth - but when I drag right my finger "catches" on the right edge - it's raised about half a millimeter.

It's a really minor flaw but now that I've noticed it I'm very aware of it. My first gen iPhone is totally flush and my wife's 3G is also fine.

Has anyone else noticed this and if so is it the kind of thing that Apple will swap the phone out for or do I have to learn to live with it?

P.

I have same problem with 3GS and took it to Genius Bar and got a new one as replacement, but it still had the problem. They try to look for the one without the "flaw", but they told me all are the same....
My new replacement still have the right edge slightly raised problem and it is annoying. Wonder if I should keep going back to get the right one.

EXACT SAME PROBLEM HERE,
IT'S TOTALLY ANNOYING, THIS IS A $300 PRODUCT.

Apple should pay more attention to their QC at their assembly line overseas.
I have noticed many inconsistency in their products, like key board touch in portable machines, as well as trackpad button and so on.

Every product needs to function the same and feel the same.

I'm now I'm my second phone...considering another exchange. The first phone's touchscreen was raised and uneven from left to right. Of course when I brought it in, the first apple-moron said he couldn't see what I was talking about...naturally! He escorted me to the genius bar where the tech noticed the flaw and exchanged it. The replacement slopes down from left to right so that the edge of the frame on the right side is higher. This creates a sharp edge along the right side of the phone and takes away from the aesthetic of this $400 purchase. I never noticed this problem on the two previous models.

Well, I didn't want to be P-I-A since I got mine replaced with a new one already because of not flush problem. It still seems to have a problem with a right side, but I decided to take a look at it myself, by removing the screw and lifted the screen with suction cup......

There is a rubber seal around the screen that makes it tight and stick to the frame. Also there is a small ridge where screen sits. The ridge must be lower than where it should be (QC problem maybe?), because I don't think we will have this problem if the ridge was higher.

Anyway, I don't know if the frame and the screen size mismatch is the problem or not, the screen will get pushed down lower than border if you give a small force....therefore If you give a little squeeze to the frame and set the screen slowly....it will get to the point where the screen is flush. I did this and it seemed to fix my screen not being flush with right side. Now it is much better and it feels the same as my original iphone.

I have an 2nd appointment with Genius Bar for this problem, but I am going to skip it and see what happens with this phone as I believe we are covered for a year.

I got my 32GB black iPhone on launch day and I also have a problem where the right side is lower than the bezel. Interestingly enough my roommate got his 32GB white iPhone 10 days after launch day and his is fine, he had to wait for the AT&T store to receive a second shipment of phones. His home button also has the old "clicky" feel to it where my iPhone has the mushier feel to it.

I have the same issue. I also have a seemingly-related issue where the right side of the "home" button is raised higher than the left side, so if I move my hand over that area from right to left, there's a bit of a bump. It's not a big deal, but just seems like crappy quality control for such an expensive phone.
