I know that when apps acted up you used to hold down the home button to force quit them. but now that there is voice control, does the force quit still work? im wondering this because im still on the 1st gen iphone and dont have voice control, but my apps also wont force quit anymore when i hold the home button. anyone know what the deal is with this? thanks
instead of holding the home button you now have to press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears, let go and then press and hold the home button as before. Just the extra step, I've tried it and it works fine.
Hope this helps
Matt.
no i know about the reset, but before when apps acted up a genius at the apple store told me to just hold the home button to "force quit" the apps. and now with this voice control feature, that doesnt work anymore. but it was useful.
