Iphone cannot connect to itunes!

Iphone cannot connect to itunes!

"Itunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unkown error occurred (0xE800000A)"

Thats the exact error message i get when i try to connect my iphone to my computer! I dunno what to do i have had this problem for 5 days now!.I have called apple 4 times and been on the phone with them for hours yet they cant help me.

And also i cant do anything with my iphone!
because it has this image on it:

the only thing i can do with the phone is call the police other than that nothing.

I upgraded my itunes and iphone at the same time and ever since i cannot get either to work with each other.

THese are the things ive tried:
Recovery Mode - Didnt work
Unistalled all apple related software EVERYTHING INCLUDING QUICKTIME AND A FEW OTHER PROGRAMS. - Didnt work
Downgraded from 8.2 to 8.1 - Didnt work
Restarted computer several times - didnt work

I dunno what to do now 😟
help anyone.

if you are running any anti trojan guards try disabling them then restarting itunes and try again...

there are stand alone anti trojans (a squared etc) some antivirus have these guards built in (try turning off antivirus) also some firewalls do this as well so last resort try turning off firewall.

remember to re-enable them after your sync.

done that, anything even close to any SORT of security is always turned off!

no security at all? ouch.

anyway some basics... did you disconnect it from any usb hubs and connect directly to a usb port on your machine?

if its already on the machines usb port have you tried another port?

i think that vista has that uac stuff running automatically doesnt it? and it has a firewall built in... you have both of those disabled? (not really sure if you can disable uac)

also if you check in the system tray (next to the clock on the program bar) hover over every icon... see if one of them is AV or security or firewall related.

also from another thread here if you have wifi on your machine try turning it off and or the network connection off then try to connect.

it seems like itunes 8.2 started acting or treating the iphone like a network connection or something... triggering some peoples av and firewalls...

i have turned EVERYTHING OFF, there is only 2 things active in my icons tray. my net connection and msn. thats it. i went through task manager and got rid of everything i even disabled all my start up programs including AVS anti spyware and firewalls.

i have tried 2 different usb cords and 3 different ports.

disable the network connection (wifi and/or lan) and try to sync... then just re enable the network afterwards

The problem was solved by reinstalling Vista, but there are some more suggestions by "Jason L" worth to try as well.
