Does iphoto come standard on the imac?

I purchased an iMac in june of 08 and recall having iphoto installed. Except when I reinstalled osx its no longer there. Am I missing something? Did I install wrong and not check a box? Or am I hallucinating that I had it to begin with?

Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Do you have all your install DVDs? As I recall, I think you get one for the OS itself and another that has all the other applications.

The data on your computer (like photos, documents, etc.) as well as applications may or may not still be there depending on how you re-installed OSX. If you selected either the "Upgrade" or the "Archive and Install" option, your data and applications should still be there. If you selected "Erase and Install," your disk was completely erased.
