Redirecting a podcast feed.

I have some feeds avaible on iTunes Store, but I want to use another URL, than the one I used, when I uploaded the feeds to iTs.

I looked at the manual and found out that I needed to use the <itunes:new-feed-url> with the new url for the feed.

When I subscripe to the old feed url, it works fine redirecting to the new feed url. But the Store seems to have cached the content of the old feed. It said I had to wait aprox 48 hours, but have now waited 96 hours, and it still have not updated.

Have anyone tried to redirect their feed ? or can tell me what is wrong ?

96 hours does seem a little long, but iTunes has become a victim of its own popularity and it can be rather slow to update things. You could try pinging the Store - the method is described here:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/whatson/podcasts/specs.html#episodes

or uploading a new episode (add it to both feeds) and see what happens when the episode appears (this usually takes 1-2 days).
