Ipod Touch Feels Warm, Smells funny after 3.0 update

Anyone having similar issues. I pick up my ipod touch, feels warm to my hands, strange odor now coming from it. I cant describe it. Like something burning inside it.........

My iPod is also getting warmer towards the bottom of the device. I haven't noticed the smell, but there's clearly something going on after the upgrade. I bet you that this translates into a significantly reduced battery life. In my case, the UI became very unresponsive and jerky. Let's hope that the next update will fix these things.
